REPORT ON AN ABNORMAL PHENOMENON

A telegram was received from the Fukushima Weather Station

(37°45'N, 140°28'E) stating as follows:

At about 7.30 p.m., a glow pale in colour was seen flying from northwest toward southeast, which fell with a roar like thunder. The spot of descent seems to be Nakagori Village, Tamura County to the east of Koriyama (37°24'N, 140°23'E). Probably, it was a meteor. The detailed state is now under investigation.
