Dear Mr. Hoover:

I carefully know how to go about trying to tell you what I want you to know. But just in my own simple way I'll do the best I can. I know you are a very busy man altho I hope you will take time to read my letter and I'll try to make a long story short.

Mr. Hoover almost gave me weeks ago, what we all call a 'Flying Saucer' fell in my front yard a distance of fine or 20 feet from where I was standing. I saw it coming straight down out of the sky. It came down at a terrible speed and exploded. I turned the pieces over to Chief Treat Danley of
