OEIDere that on July 27, 1952 at approximately 10:00 A.M.
while fishing in the back waters of Thessalon Lake,
Ontario, Canada, he noticed a formation of bombi ng pl anes,
sixteen to twenty in number, in two groups flying south
at a height estimated by him to be four or five mil es .
Dr . McINDOO stated that the pl anes went over the
lake, suddenl y dr opped objects at fir st thought by him
to be parachutes.
He continued that these objects fel l
strai ght down f or a short time , then suddenl y spurted vapor
and at a high rate of speed flew off in a southwesterly
direction.
Dr . McINDOO was unable to i denti fy the nati onality
of the planes, but stated that they had twin trail s of
bluish smoke.
He fur ther stated that the objects which
had been dropped from the planes had a single trail of
bluish smoke.
He stated that he had been accompanied on hi s fishing
trip by PAUL GADDIS , Kokomo, Indiana.
Dr . McINDOO had no
further information concerni11.g instant planes or the objects
dropped by them.
Dr. McINDOO was referred to the FBI by DONALD D. 8111TH,
President of the First National Bank of Kokomo, Indiana,

who advised that Dr. HcINDCO e11.joyed a good reputation in
Koko:r.io.
