Dear Mr Hoover!-

Since reading so much about flying saucers and other objects in the sky, I have decided to write you about a theory which I came to believe in 1917

One evening about 10- I saw an object in the South western Sky. It seemed to be falling toward the Earth at about a 50° angle which would let it hit about South 8 us. It went behind some buildings and when I ran out, to see where it might hit, it was moving horizontally with the Earth's surface. Almost immediately it started to rise
