It is my understanding that the F.B.I. has par­
ticipated in the Government's program of investigation of
Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO).
How many UFO sighting reports involving alleged
photographs or films of unconventional aerial objects has
your organization collected, evaluated, or analyzed since
January 1, 1952 to present? Has the F.B.I. ever been fur­
nished with an analysis of maneuvers of UFO' s ?
I understand that congressional closed-door
hearings are being held on the UFO subject .
