A German scientist explained flying discs

This is a CIA information report that passes along a translated copy of an article by a German scientist, titled 'The Mystery of the Flying Discs,' which was submitted to a German-language magazine in Chile. The CIA kept it because foreign technical claims were worth tracking, not because anyone believed the claims. In the early Cold War, files like this sit closer to a worry about rival aircraft than to anything otherworldly.
