Los Alamos kept old green-light letters
Department of Energy, 1970.
This is 1970s correspondence to and from scientist James L. Tuck. It includes a handwritten witness account of green lights and a formation of objects seen over Los Alamos between 1948 and 1951, plus typed letters discussing atmospheric vortices, ball lightning, and UFO literature. Ordinary paperwork like this can still show curiosity, pressure, or confusion, and that everyday record is often the real story an archive tells.
