A hot sphere tracked over water

An Air Force Special Operations surveillance aircraft on an Operation Enduring Sentinel mission detected one object at 0457Z while returning to base, described as a glowing hot sphere moving in a straight line over the water at 140 knots. The description is clean but it is not an identification; the report gives speed and path and then stops. From outside the classified system it stays a sensor event with too little context.
