A formation held together for two minutes
Department of War, Arabian Gulf, 2020.
This is a USCENTCOM mission report, Misrep 4685903. A surveillance aircraft over the Arabian Gulf on August 26 and 27, 2020, recorded a formation of unknown flying objects and tracked them on its sensors for about two minutes before losing them in cloud cover. This is one of the cleaner modern accounts. The cloud cover matters because the weather, not a choice, ended the chance to learn more. It works better as a record of a formation being seen than as a case that identifies anything.
