A bouncy-ball object held speed over Syria

This report describes a surveillance flight over Syria on November 9, 2023, during which the aircrew saw a probable unidentified object shaped like a bouncy ball. It held a steady speed of about 424 knots for at least seven minutes and passed their aircraft safely as they returned to base. The strange shape is memorable, but the safety note is the important part. An odd shape in a military log is not the same thing as a threat.
