An object was seen in this locality on 13 June 1947. The hour was approximately 9:15 P. and we (my wife and I) were traveling toward the Plantation Golf Course, which is approximately five miles from noise. On the way, we happened to see a cloud in the sky which seemed to be moving for a long time. It was half circle in shape and just as we tried to get behind it, we saw aerror caught in the sun. After several minutes of traveling, we looking the object disoriented. We got out of the car and looked at the object. It was about 1,000 feet away, and from our location, approximately 1,000 feet in the air.

Note: Witness states he has had "Aircraft Recognition" in the USAF about 4 times and is positive that the object sighted was not an airplane.
