Witness was traveling between Parrott, Ga., and Richland, Ga., in an automobile when he observed a brilliant blue-white streak of light which lasted from 5 to 10 seconds, traveling in an apparent level flight on a heading of approximately 250°, at about 30,000 ft altitude (estimated). After the light disappeared a trail of sparks was observed which appeared several miles long.
