This is an interesting paper! Much of what is recommended is still applicable today, so one gets the impression that ATIC- or FTD- did not lead the warning of increasing public concern for UFOs fanned by periodic stimulation by publicity-seeking individuals. Little proper has been made since this report in dispelling the public fears of UFOs. In fact most of the recent publicity, I feel, has done just the opposite by "fanning the smoldering flames."

I think a strong point in this question is the fact that in all the years that UFOs have been in the public scene there never has been any "hardware" evidence acquired. Unless the "little green men" are really super intellectuals engineering wise I feel that one of their craft
