Dear Mr. Gribble:
Mith reference to your letter of 19 July 1955,
you are right in assuming that the Air Force is not
firing test missiles over major American cities into
the airways of major airlines. We are soon to release
to the public information that has been gathered since
1948 pertaining to unidentified flying objects. This has
been called Project "Bluebook."
Thank you for your interest in the Unidentified
Flying Object Program and the United States Air Force.
