Dear Mr. Shommaker:
As per our telephone conversation of 15 August 1955,
at which time you reported an unidentified flying object,
I would like to inform you that this information has been
passed along to the Special Studies Group the Air Force
has for such sightings. We are very interested in such
sightings and 1 assure you proper action has been taken.
You indicated an interest in joining a Ground Observer
Corps. The following officers are Ground Observer Project
Officers and if you contact them I an sure they would give
you the necessary information:
