SUBJECT: Letter From Editor of Challenge Magazine
1. Returned without action as agreed by Mr. Wilson and the
undersigned in telecon of 25 March.
2. In view of President Eisenhower's unequivocal statements
at his press conference and recent public statements on this
subject by authorized Air Force spokesmen, it is believed by this
Directorate that no useful purpose will be served in replying to
the attached letter.
