1. It is requested that the Air Force member of the Joint Co.111111u.nica­
tione-Electronics Committee take whateTer steps may be necessary to amend
Par. 101, Chapter 1. of subject publication so as to include commercial
domestic airlines within its provisions.

3. Procedure instructions in connection with JANAP 146 have been
included in this Directorate's •Intelligence Collection Instructions",
which is being distributed to Major Air Commands and Air Attaches.
Effective date of the "ICI" isl Sept 19~8.
4. It is further requested that the distribution of subsequent
issues of JANAP 146, or any changes or amendments thereto, include,
in addition to the original distribution, 102 copies to be sent to
this Directorate - Attn:
AFOIR-A.A.
These are for onward transmission
to Air Attaches. E~tra Copies of the first issue have already been
secured for this prupose.
