1. In view of the reduction in the officer personnel strength of the Navy, the President terminates your temporary appointment as a Lieutenant in the Navy, effective 31 December 1949.

2. You will revert to your permanent status as a Chief Photographer. The designator assigned you in this grade is 8311.
