1. Commander Naval Air Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet takes pleasure j_n
certifying the Operations Department of the USS ESSEX (CVS-9) as standing
first in the CVA class ship during fiscal year 1960.
2. The Commanding Officer is congratulated on the exemplary performance
of the ESSEX's Operations Department.
