Mr. SAM NOVE telephonically contacted this office on 3/9/64, in an attempt to obtain an opinion concerning his son's membership in an organization.

Mr. NOVE's son, JOHN, age 16, who attends School in Hackensack has joined some type of peace organization contrary to his father's wishes. This organization has been given permission to hold meetings in the school and to recruit students. The organization is sponsoring a students peace march from Hackensack to Newark.

Mr. NOVE was advised of the confidential nature of FBI files and that his name would be made a matter of record.
