Apollo 12 reported flashes near the Moon

This is the Apollo 12 air-to-ground transcript in which the crew, near the Moon, report flashes and particles of light seen through their optical telescope, an oddly pulsing guidance display they blamed on electrical interference, and a burned-out tracking light. All of these are discussed as normal spacecraft operations. The record is interesting because routine mission talk contains details that a later reader could mistake for UFO claims.
