way.
We had all the emergency systems out though,
and we were ready to fire it any way we had to.

Yes , we had gone through our little emergency
retrofire and our emergency SEP ADAPT and all this.
We were all set to go on those , and I think we'd
have been in real good shape even if they hadn' t
occured .

We held retro- attitude , waited on the light, armed
thereto- jet and when the light came on Pete toggled

They sounded just
like in the simulator.

Again we didn't see anything. It was pitch black. Had
cockpit lights up full white.
