Delbert C. NEWHOUSE, USN.

Subject: Temporary additional duty.

1. On or about February 2, 1943 you will proceed from U.S. Naval Base, Santa Elena, Ecuador, to Quito, Ecuador, for temporary additional duty in connection with making photographs as may be necessary of the source of food supply of the base.

2. This is in addition to your regular duties and upon the completion thereof, you will return to your station and resume your regular duties.

3. A per diem of $6.00 in lieu of subsistence is authorized while in an air travel status and away from your station in the execution of these orders.

4. Transportation will be via government aircraft.
