(c ) The Contractor need not provide t he listing to a particular cooperative agreement holder more
f requentl y than once a year .

ACQUI SITION STREAMLINING (DEC 1991)
(a) The Government's acquisition streamlining objectives are to-­
(1 ) Acquire s ystems that meet stated pe r formance requirements;
(2 ) Avoid over-speci ficat ion; a nd
(3 ) Ensure that cost- e ffective requirements are incl uded i n
fut ure acquisiti ons .
(b) The Contractor s hall-­
(1 ) Prepare and submit acquisiti on streamlining recommendations
i n a ccordance with the statement of work of this contract ;
and
(2 ) Format and submit t he recommendations as prescribed b y data
requirements on the contract dat a requirements l ist of this
contract .
(c ) The Government has the r i g h t to accept , modify, o r reject t he Cont ractor's recommendations .
(d ) The Contractor s hall insert t his clause, including t his paragraph (d), in all subcontracts over
$1 million, awarded i n t he performance of this cont ract .

(a) "Definitions ." As used i n this clause-­

issuing agency code, enterprise identifier, a nd
unique seri al number within

"Enterprise" means the e ntity (e . g ., a manufacturer or vendor)
responsible for assigning unique

"Automatic identification device " means a devi ce, such as a reader or interrogator, used to retrieve
data encoded on machine -readable media .
"Concatenated uni que i tem i de ntifi er" means-­
