This was prior to
firing anything, so I think they corrected one
time only.
I thought the rest of it was very
well h8J1dled.
We had the times called up and
verified several times .
As we started our pass across the States , I
started alining the :EDJ.atform..
We had the best
alined platform although we didn ' t really need
an alined platform since we didn't have a
closed loop guidance system.
But we sure had
the best alined platform at retrofire that the
space business will probably ever see .
I
alined the platform across the United States ,
and then I went to Orbit Rate.
I had about
a 20-minute alinement on it and went to Orbit
Rate.
We left it in Orbit Rate.
I did this
alinement small-end-forward because I wanted
to see where I was going for a change.
We
went into the dark side, and we really got
into our checklist then.
We performed the P~e­
r etro Checklist well in advance of when it was
supposed to be done. It shows it in the flight
