Gemini 5 had a strange pod problem

This is the 1965 Gemini 5 crew debriefing in which astronauts Cooper and Conrad describe their jettisoned Rendezvous Evaluation Pod behaving oddly on radar, two unexplained dings on the hatch, and meteors seen burning up below the spacecraft. The file is genuinely odd, but the oddness comes mostly from the mechanics of spaceflight and the equipment itself rather than from anything unknown.
